Continuing with the previous post, in this I present to you the second episode that I also created. This episode focuses on Catwoman, and the synopsis is as follows:
"Following a failed robbery attempt in Gotham because of Kitten, Catwoman finds herself involved in an unexpected alliance with Batman to stop Kitten and her father, the criminal known as Killer Moth, in addition to beginning to have new feelings for the young Dark Knight."
As the synopsis says, this episode is going to focus on Catwoman, so this would be the second time this happens, the first being "Bad Kitty".
And what's going to happen here is Selina as Catwoman goes to Gotham for what she likes to do: steal. But when she is about to do so, it turns out that the jewelry store she planned to rob is already being looted. And it's where Selina meets Catherine Walker (aka Kitten), who turns out to be the other thief who thwarted Catwoman's attempted robbery.
It is worth mentioning that this character already debuted in "Pity the April Fool", so this episode marks Kitten's return to the series.
And she doesn't come back alone, because this time she does it with her criminal father, Drury Walker, whom we all know as Killer Moth.
If you remember, in "Breaking News" a female moth monster with the same name appeared, but it had nothing to do with the conventional Killer Moth. Well then, in this episode it would be revealed that the moth monsters were in fact created by the original Killer Moth, that is, Drury Walker. But what happened was that one of his giant moths, that is, the big female from the episode "Breaking News", escaped to Metropolis where of course she caused chaos in the city and was defeated by the Super Hero Girls.
And what is also happening is that with the appearance of Drury along with Kitten, it is because his daughter is helping him in his criminal work.
Another key character in this episode is Batman, who will also play an important role alongside Catwoman.
When Batman shows up in this episode, the first thing that happens is that he thinks Catwoman stole the jewelry store Kitten robbed. But he later acknowledges that Catwoman did not steal this time realizing that the one who stole was Kitten. This leads Batman and Catwoman to ally in an unexpected way, even for Selina, since she has been one of the villains of the Caped Crusader.
During this adventure, both Batman and Selina begin to feel feelings for each other, which is also unexpected, of course. As we know, Batman in this series communicates through unrecognizable mumbles and grunts, and the only time he actually spoke was in the crossover movie. But this episode is going to mark the first time Batman has spoken more openly.
Both the Cat and the Bat join forces, as I mentioned and together they defeat Killer Moth and Kitten. But while all this is going on, Amanda Waller and the ARGUS staff are monitoring them, and upon seeing Catwoman, Waller declares that she is one of the ones for her plans. What I mentioned to you previously is, just like Deadshot, Amanda Waller will be monitoring the heroes and villains she chooses for the Squad. It already happened first with Deadshot in "Bat is Target"; it's going to happen with Multiplex in "Three Teams' A Crowd", it's going to happen with Captain Boomerang in "Faster Than a Speeding Boomerang", and it's going to happen with Catwoman here, and the same with the members who are elected.
Another thing to mention is that this episode will be two part, and going to explore Catwoman's past in depth, the same thing happened with Harley Quinn in "The Punchline Trap" and it will happen with Poison Ivy in "Avatars of the Green".
Finally, the title of the episode is a reference to the children's book "The Cat in the Hat" by Dr. Seuss.
