Short Description: Barbara, who just wants to win a bubblegum blowing contest against her gal pal, Harleen just for once uses her most powerful gadget yet: Batgum* (™️*), to win. But will she blow up more than she can chew?

A high school teen wouldn’t be a high school teen without the essentials: MP3 music players, Skateboards, Sports gear, Comics, and of course: Bubblegum. And Harleen Quinzel is no exception.
Harleen holds ALL the records for being “The Bubble Blowing Champ of Metropolis”, from blowing bubbles the size of buildings, to stuffing more than 1,000,000,000.1 pieces of Marshmallow Pink Bubblegum in her mouth, and turning them into a small gum wad, Harleen is undoubtedly, and clearly, the untapped bubblegum master.
But Barbara Gordon plans to finally beat Harleen whenever they have a bubblegum blowing contest, by creating her most powerful, most dangerous, most untested gadget yet: Batgum*!(™️*)
Barbara (in her Batgirl form) wanted to practice her latest invention in the Superhero Girls’ Secret Lair, but her other teammates, concerned about their Gadget Girl/Co-Leader literally gumming their both their stuff Secret Lair with her Batgum, put her outside before she got the chance. So she practiced her Batgum on the rooftops during the night, where no one could she her. Batgirl was impressed by the flavor, texture, nice feel, and size of bubbles it made, but when the bubble popped, Batgirl felt like it was missing something.
Then, she got it! Batgirl’s Batgum was missing the gum base from the gumballs she & Harleen got the other day from the gumball machine, so she took her Batgum from her mouth with her left hand to see how it would react to the red gumball she was holding in her right hand. After seeing the Batgum glow a nice Bubblegum Pink aura, Batgirl knew that Harleen’s spot on the Bubble Blowing Queen throne would soon be open for the taking, by her.
The next day, after school was out for the day, Barbara & Harleen went to the rooftops where they have their bubblegum blowing contests, Barbara, for the first time, let Harleen go first.
Harleen took a wad of gum she found on her left shoe and put it in her mouth (Ew!), so she can start to chew.
As Harleen smacked and chewed her gum, savoring the fruity flavor (with just a hint of sidewalk asphalt), she visualized the perfect clearing to blow her bubble, and took a deep breath, before blowing a large pink bubble that quickly and rapidly became the size of semi-truck, suddenly leaving Barbara some what frozen from shock. After making the people down below once again wonder where the heck are the giant, clear pink bubbles that explodes all over them keep coming from, since last week, Harleen’s bubble popped all over the cars, streets, and lower buildings below, confusing everyone but Harleen and Barbara, who just giggled a little bit.
Harleen blew a clear, pink bubble that popped before she told Barbra to “Top that.” And so that’s what she did.
Barbara took out both her Batgum and gumballs from her right pocket, covered from the same gum from her shoes after taking a skipping stroll down that bubblegum covered street both she and Harleen take before one of their bubblegum blowing contests (for *Ahem* obvious reasons.), and put both “Wads” of gum in her mouth, and started to chew with her mouth open, so Harleen knew what she was up against. Harleen just scoffed smugly while rolling her eyes a bit, knowing that NO ONE could “Out-Bubble” her. (Or so she thought…)
Barbara took a deeper breath than Harleen did, & blew a giant bubble that quickly became the size of Harleen’s Bubble, but then suddenly expanded larger than Metropolis itself, and for the first time, somebody finally blew a bubblegum bubble bigger than Harleen Quinzel! But Barbara was too busy enjoying the perfect fruity bubblegum flavor too notice how big her bubble was getting, making Harleen shred a tear of joy or 2 after seeing her gal pal blow a bubble bigger than the sun itself! But just when everyone was finished hiding from the monster-like god size gum bubble that started to jiggle like a jellyfish: KA-BOOM!
Barbara’s bubblegum bubble exploded all over half the earth, leaving Metropolis coated in sticky pink bubblegum.
After standing in shock, both Barbara and Harleen looked at each other before bursting into laughter, knowing that not only someone other than Harleen finally broke the Metropolis record for biggest bubblegum bubble ever, but the gal pals can enjoy Barbara’s Batgum and blow giant bubbles together on the rooftops, happily as friends. (Hopefully before somebody finds there’re the ones who gummed up both Metropolis and half of the earth.)
