Plot[]
While making her rounds as the school hall monitor, Karen runs into trouble with the cocky Hal Jordan when she requests his hall pass. After several failed attempts, Karen transforms into her superhero form and pretends to be a ghost. A terrified Hal attempts to call for help from Superman, but to no avail. Karen continues to haunt him by hiding in a trash can and attacking him with dodgeballs, scaring Hal into going back to class.

- This short marks the debut of Hal Jordan.
- When Karen tells Hal that he should have a yellow pass to walk around the school during classes, he mention "[he is] not the biggest fan of yellow". In the comics, color yellow was originally depicted as a Green Lantern's weakness.
