The episode starts in the Metropolis High gym with Jessica giving her speech presuading the students to vote for her in the upcoming school election. She promises to reduce the school's carbon footprint, and provide the cafeteria with fresh vegetables. The other girls route for her, when suddenly Oswald appears and attempts to one-up Jessica's "Count On Cruz" champagin with rejecting homework, free taco machines in every classroom, and free t-shirts, which he gives out with a toy bazooka, promoting his "Cobblepot" champaign. This has the whole schoole, except for the girls, presuaded to vote for him in the election. Despite this, Jessica still has high hopes for her chances of winning, thinking the rest of the school is too smart to fall for Oswald's gimmicks. The next day at Sweet Justice, the polls show Copplepot's in the lead. Jess is still confident, but Zee informs her that they're WAY behind to the point where even the school mascot, Hammy the Hamster, is beating Jess. Kara suggests that Jess should be like Oswald and promise a bunch of impssoible stuff, which Jess refuses. She is still confident because she believes she and her team have intergity. Diana propses that Jess's chamagign could use some pazzaz to increase their chances of winning. Karen and Babs make the commercial, Zee works on the image overhaul, and Kara throws in a cleberty endorsement, which Jess thinks is Superman, but it was really herself. Kara reluctantly agrees to ring him up. With all of their hard work put into the collaboration, the "Count On Cruz" word is widely spread, which Oswald is baffled by. He talks to Leslie, giving her another task that involves twisting Jess's champaign with a little video altering. This puts Cobblepot ahead once more. After Jess starts to doubt herself, Diana convinces her to keep going. Jess then overhears Oswald gloating in his secret lair down the hall, to which she takes as a challenge. The next day, at the election, Jessica imitates Oswald's style of champaigning and going the extra mile. Oswald takes drastic mesures and calls up Leslie. Upon realizing that she's gone too far, Jess admits she can't promise all the cool fun stuff, but can promise to make the school a better place. Livewire then makes her enterance in the election and gets into a fake fight with Oswald to inflate his ego. After a freak accident that ends up shorting the microphone in Lois Lane's mug of coffee, Livewire takes advantage of the situation to get back at Oswald for neglecting to pay for his favors. Jess steps in with her stunning moves to shut off the control box and save the school, and Jess offically wins the election with the whole crowd cheering "Count On Cruz".
