DC Super Hero Girls: Teen Power is a game based on the DC Super Hero Girls (TV series) by Lauren Faust, developed by TOYBOX inc. and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It was released on June 4, 2021.

Gameplay

The gameplay is action platformers beat 'em up games, each character has different abilities with same combo. Once character was human which not able to be superhero, you're start to be open world games. You mission for open world games is explore and help for objective for each chapter. Once you wanna fight, you get able to superhero. You objective is fight enemies or fight boss for each chapter. There's also a costume. You can upgrade and power up once your mission or objective is complete.

  • A Japanese trailer came out on of February, 17th 2021[1].
    • The Japanese Trailer shows different footage from the English trailer.
  • An English trailer with the American release date came out on February 19, 2021. [2]
  • The trailer received negative reviews from viewers on both Twitter and YouTube, despite the game having yet to be released.
    • The reason for the negative reviews is either because the people are uninterested in or strongly dislike the show, or because of the "terrible" graphics.
  • The trailer shows that Batgirl, Supergirl, and Wonder Woman are all playable characters. It is unknown if Zatanna, Green Lantern, and Bumblebee will be playable too, or they will be NPCs (non-player characters).
  • The gameplay shares similarities to Persona series.
  • This is the first DCSHG video game exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
  • Harley Quinn, Catwoman, and Star Sapphire will be playable characters. It is unknown if Poison Ivy, Giganta, and Livewire will be playable characters, allies, bosses or non-playable characters.
  • In a video they show that Livewire and Giganta will be allies, but it remains unknown if Poison Ivy will be an ally, a playable character or a boss.
  • In the game, Carol is shown in her red cheerleading outfit (which she wore in Hate Triangle) rather than her pink one she always wears in the series.
