#DoubleDanvers is the third episode of Season 2 of DC Super Hero Girls, and is the 55th episode overall.
Plot
At the Lazarus Pit, a heavy metal band sees Kara in the crowd and asks her to join up on stage with them, causing her to scream in joy. However, it was all a dream as Kara notices that she's late for school. While heading down, Jeremiah informs her that Ted Kord, the young billionaire/scientist/investor of Kord Enterprises is coming to the Danvers Residence Friday night (which she somehow forgot) and told her he needs her there to tell him how his inventions would be useful for teens, and she reluctantly agrees as she hurries off to school.
During lunch, Kara tells Jessica about her dream of her favorite band; the Malevolent Maniacs asking her on stage, and after showing her a quick demo of their latest song, Kara discovers that the tickets come out Friday and she bought two already and invited Jessica to come, but Jessica reminds her that Friday night is also the night Ted Kord is coming over to her residence for the meeting, as it was shown in a note on Kara's lunch bag. Kara realizes that she can't be in two places at once, until she comes up with an ingenious idea. Later at the Lair, Kara tells Bizarrogirl about the idea of taking her place at the meeting while she goes to the concert, to which Bizarrogirl agrees under the condition that Kara does something for her in return, which she whispers in her ear.
On Friday night, as Kara is still wondering where Bizarrogirl is, she hears a knock outside and discovers that Bizarrogirl went to the wrong address and introduced herself to a couple of elders living across the street. Kara stops her and takes her to her home. There, she notices that Bizarrogirl was wearing her super outfit and takes her inside and gives her a pair of her clothes. She also gives her a necklace that Jeremiah had made from a rare gem in his collection.
Before heading out, she gives Bizzarogirl a few tips on how to act at the meeting, such as giving short answers such as "Yeah", "No", and "Cool", and told her to smile (which she instantly tells her not to do due to Bizarrogirl's strange way of smiling) and finally, if she has a problem, she just has to remember this phrase: "What would Kara do?", but then changes it to "What would Ugly Me do?" since everything to her is the polar opposite, so calling normal Kara is ugly for her. Then Kara sends her downstairs as Ted Kord arrives and after introducing himself to the Danvers, Bizarrogirl follows the instructions Kara gave her earlier.
Meanwhile, Kara is at the Lazarus Pit with Jessica who thinks that Kara’s parents let her go. Kara tries to ensure her that’s what happened, but Jessica gets suspicious about Kara's actions, and after being in denial for a short while, Kara admits she had Bizarro cover for her at the meeting, which makes Jess scold at her. Kara tries to assure her that Bizarro is doing fine but notices that Bizarrogirl is with them. Kara asks for an explanation to which she replies that she was under pressure from so many questions. Kara tells her to go back home and call her if there's any trouble, and she does. Bizzarogirl keeps calling her repeatedly throughout the show. At home, Jeremiah (believing Bizarrogirl is Kara) thanks her for being there for him which Kara overhears on the phone. The Malevolent Maniacs ask Kara to join them on stage, but after realizing what she had done, she declines the offer and rushes back home.
Jeremiah tests out one of his laundry detergent based inventions on Bizarro Kara and it makes the necklace she’s wearing create a strange chemical reaction. Kara barges in and apologizes for going to the concert instead of being at the meeting, but Jeremiah is puzzled as to why there are two Karas in the room. Ted Kord analyzes the necklace Bizarro’s wearing as a form of kryptonite, much to Kara’s shock. The kryptonite's powers then cause Bizarrogirl to become enraged, and she flies Ted Kord out the window. Kara tries to explain what happened but Jeremiah thinks that his inventions are so good that supervillains are trying to steal them too, and runs out after them. Kara dons into her hero costume and flies out to town. She calls Superman and asks about the Kryptonite Bizarrogirl is wearing. He says that it's the Periwinkle variant of it, which is harmless and will just make her giddy within contact of it. She then asks what would its opposite effects be if it fell into a Bizarro’s hands. He answers that it’ll cause rage and pure devastation. He worriedly asks if Kara gave her Bizarro counterpart said kryptonite, but she hangs up mid sentence. She then finds Bizarrogirl and saves Ted Kord while also removing the kryptonite. Bizarrogirl flies away to which Kara finds herself laughing under the effects of the Periwinkle Kryptonite. She then throws it into space.
Just then, Jeremiah and Eliza arrive as Supergirl apologizes for what she did (or tries to say that Kara was sorry). Ted approaches Jeremiah and tells him that while he's not good in the teen market, he's great in the science department and wants to continue with their meeting. Eliza wonders why Supergirl isn't going after Bizarrogirl but tells her that she'll meet her again, due to the promise she made of her which is shown that Kara would go with Bizarrogirl to an "Up Past 8" concert. As Bizarrogirl is badly singing along, Kara admits she liked her better when she was angry.
