Granny Goodness debuts in the special Super Hero High School as the head librarian of Super Hero High School, introduced to Supergirl by Barbara Gordon. When Supergirl tells Granny of her plans to go to Korrugar Academy, she tells her to use the off-limits boomtubes and promises to keep it a secret if she doesn't tell anyone of her breaking the no pet rule by keeping a pet, Perry. There, she disables Supergirl with kryptonite after opening the portal to Apokalypse to free the Female Furies who take control of the school by corrupting the amethyst to controlling the minds of the students and staff after framing Vice Principal Grodd for trying to break in to the tubes. After Supergirl and Batgirl disable the mind control, Granny engages Supergirl, Batgirl and Wonder Woman. She is defeated when Supergirl ties her to a tree using a super-proof flagpole. After the Furies are defeated, they are thrown by Grodd via the boom tubes into Belle Reve Penitentiary. She also appears being defeated by Supergirl with the flagpole in archive footage in Hero of the Month: Supergirl.
In the film Intergalactic Games, Lena Luthor arranges safe passage for Granny Goodness to bring the Furies to Earth to compete at the Intergalactic Games and poses as the Dean of "Apokalypse Magnet School" with the real intent to steal the responsometer to create combat robots. She attends the banquet which turns into a food fight and spectates the games' first day events with the Ambassador, Principal Waller and Sinestro. Later that night, Granny and the Furies attempt to steal the Responsometer using Big Barda's fingerprints, but are defeated by Super Hero High Students. As Granny tries to escape, Big Barda throws her megarod, tripping her. They are then sent to prison in a Metropolis SCU truck. In A New Perry-Spective, Super Hero High students hypothesize that Granny Goodness must be behind an injured Perry wreaking havoc in Metropolis. When Big Barda notices her absence, she concludes that she abandoned him after his injury and adopts him herself.
In All Pets Are Off, Artemiz mentions Granny Goodness when she kidnaps the pets of Super Hero High students, planning on bringing them to Apokalypse to recruit them as war beasts into Granny Goodness' animal army, where she may torture them. The plan fails when the animals are rescued and Artemiz is defeated. In the first part of My So-Called Anti-Life, Darkseid mentions sending Granny Goodness and the Female Furies to destroy Earth for several years without success.
