Appearance
Jessica is a tall, pretty-looking, tan-skinned Latina teenager with a slender yet voluptuous build, followed by rosy cheeks, olive-brown eyes, maroon lips and wavily-styled, tailbone-length brown hair with olive-brown highlights.
As a civilian, Jessica's clothing consists of a color scheme that are mostly shades of green; she wears a green beanie hat on her head, a set of pale green hoop-earrings, a mid-sleeved, slightly dark green off-the-shoulder crop-top over a light green tank top, a long green skirt with a pattern of the Green Lantern Logo around the hem, and a pair of simple green flats. She also wears her Power Ring on her finger in her right hand.
As Green Lantern, her body and eyes emit a green aura, she has the Green Lantern logo on her right eye, and her hair sported bright green highlights. In addition, her superhero attire is the traditional Green Lantern uniform.
Personality
Jessica is a pacifist who is initially reluctant to become a Green Lantern. She actively refuses to physically hit anyone, except for Hal Jordan. She also refuses to accept the idea that her pacifistic ways may not always work. She is also an environmentalist and a vegan with a penchant for being overbearingly persistent, which can be a real problem at times. She seems to be somewhat arrogant and dismissive. She is also an activist. However, what she lacks in violence she makes up for her kindness for her friends. Despite her passive-aggressiveness to those who don’t listen to her, she is an easy-going, kind person who believes everyone needs a friend, and there's no such thing as a lost cause.
Trivia
- Much like in the webisodes, Jessica's Green Lantern outfit is similar.
- She's revealed to be the daughter of a lesbian couple in "House Pest."
- She is the only female in the Green Lantern Corps.
- It is implied that she can recognize and determine any animal, as shown in "Fantastic Beasts and How To Mind Them," since she knew that Steve was a griffin.
- She speaks with a slight Mexican accent.
- Despite claiming to be a polite pacifist, she is shown to be pretty hypocritical at times:
- In Shock It To Me she with her friends but Diana laughs of Lois' humiliation;
- In Crushing It she (alongside Bumblebee, Zatanna and Supergirl) attempt to kill Steve Trevor because Diana was constantly distracted by him;
- In AwesomeAuntAntiope she takes part in a bar fight;
- In Super Wonder Bat Bee Zee Lantern Mobile she fights her friends for the car, to the point of causing its destruction;
- In Enter Night Sting she berates Babs for eating Karen’s food without asking while she was eating her banana.
