• Fred Tatasciore reprises his role from the Teen Titans Go! To The Movies.
• His physical appearance is a combination of the two live-action incarnations of the character: Marlon Brando (from Superman and Superman II) and Russell Crowe (from Man of Steel).
• When Kara searches for information on Cythonna and her Amulet, it is revealed that Jor-El can also be mellow on Superman. In fact, Babs' comment "And I thought my dad was mushy" is a joke to self Fred Tatasciore, since he also voices Commissioner Gordon (Barbara's dad) in the series.
