King Shark is a villain in the first generation of the DC Super Hero Girls franchise.

Appearance[]

King Shark aka Nanaue is the son of the Hawaiian shark god that has a shark head with razor sharp teeth, dark grey skin, and red eyes. He wears a slate blue T-shirt with a vertical black stripe and torn brown trousers.

Depiction in the web series[]

King Shark is voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson in the English version of the cartoon.

Season two[]

In Ultimate Accessory, King Shark engages Bumblebee, Harley Quinn, Miss Martian, and Katana at the docks as they demonstrate Bumblebee's gadgets for her Weaponomics midterm. The supers successfully use her spring-loaded boots, weapon-homing device and heat vision amplifiers to battle King Shark and eventually pin him under a shipping container. When he emerges from underneath it, Bumbleebee stings him, causing him to collapse under the container again, defeated. [1]

Season three[]

In Day of Fun-Ship, King Shark appears rampaging at the zoo, and smashes a hole in a zoo aquarium to eat the fish inside. Blackfire and Starfire engage him when they try to stop him. King Shark grabs Blackfire and offers to eat her instead, but he lets her go when Starfire hits him. The two sisters eventually defeat him by wrapping him up with garlands from the top of the zoo aquariums while singing a Tamaranean nursery rhyme.

Season four[]

In Pets Peeved Part 1, King Shark appears as part of the Animilitia with fellow animal-themed villains Killer Croc, Killer Moth, and Lion-Mane and engages Super Hero High students at the zoo. He battles Katana with a gate door but she manages to disarm him and kick him in the head. The Animilitia eventually manage to trap the students in a Kryptonite-laced Super-proof zoo cage. In Pets Peeved Part 2, King Shark appears with Killer Croc kicking the humans out of Metropolis so that the city can belong to the beasts. As the Super-Pets come to rescue their owners, King Shark is defeated by Krypto, who tackles him, knocking him down. As Krypto licks him, he expresses disgust over his dog drool. In Truth of the Lasso Part 1, a cutout of King Shark appears as a target for a student target practice exercise. It is destroyed by Bumblebee's stings.

Season five[]

In Career Day, Wonder Woman mentions King Shark's rampage earlier in the day as a possible cause to the destroyed Lady Justice statue in front of Super Hero High.
