Starfire made her first appearance in the season one webisode Welcome to Super Hero High. She is voiced by Hynden Walch in the English version of the cartoon.

Season one[]

In Welcome to Super Hero High, Starfire appears in the crowd by Amanda Waller as she introduces the school and looks at Wildfire in appreciation when she makes a greeting in Tamaranean. She later makes a background appearance in a classroom as Miss Martian gets an A+.[1] In All About Super Hero High, she appears flying in the hallway with Star Sapphire, and she along with Miss Martian get introduced by Bumblebee to Wonder Woman.[2]

In Crazy Quiltin', she makes a background appearance attending supersuit design class.[3] In Fall Into Super Hero High, she watches Harley Quinn's video in which she and Star Sapphire slips on ice created by Frost. She and the other students are at first embarrassed and upset with Harley who accidentally uploads it online, but they end up sharing a laugh.[4]

In Clubbing, Starfire appears as the Tamaranean representative of the United Planets Club and reminds Miss Martian that Principal Waller will not sign off on her extracurricular hours if she is invisible. She later attends the Science Club meeting.[5] In Hero of the Month: Bumblebee, she makes a background appearance watching Amanda Waller announcing Bumblebee as Hero of the Month.[6]

Season two[]

In New Beginnings, Starfire attends the surprise party for Wonder Woman for defeating her first supervillain.[7]

In Hero of the Month: Supergirl, Starfire attends Super-suit Design class and watches Supergirl is announced as Hero of the Month.[8] In Batgirl vs. Supergirl, Starfire appears in the school cafeteria and is one of many students who dodge out of the way of Supergirl and Batgirl as they battle over the last piece of Super-Food Cake.[9]

In Doubles Trouble, she spectates Supergirl and Katana's tennis match against Cyborg and The Flash.[10]In Franken-Ivy, she bumps into Poison Ivy in the halls, and gets attacked by her protective plant Frankie. Ivy then helps free her.[11]

In Hero of the Month: Katana, Starfire comments on Katana's willingness to help out others in her Hero of the Month VT.[12] In Hero of the Month: Frost, Starfire makes a cameo appearance watching Frost's Hero of the Month announcement.[13] In Hero of the Month: Hawkgirl, she attends Hawkgirl's surprise birthday party for Bumblebee during Hawkgirl's Hero of the Month VT.[14]

In The Cheetah Who Cried Wolf, Starfire is one of the students reading in the Student Lounge and dismisses The Cheetah when she claims that Solomon Grundy is attacking the senior center, after staging many false alarms for Hero of the Month recognition.[15] In The Ring of Mire, she appears as a background character talking to Miss Martian near the Lady Justice statue outside the school.[16]

In Hero of the Month: Cyborg and Starfire, she, alongside Cyborg get awarded the first double Hero of the Month award, having both received the award simultaneously for working together to save citizens and defeat Trigon when he attacked the park. During an interview for their Hero of the Month VT, they say that they are such good friends they finish each other's sentences which they prove by doing so.[17]

In Cold Blooded, she spectates Ivy's dancing flowers show in a fountain outside the school which are later frozen and destroyed when an ill Frost sneezes. She later appears with other students confronting Firefly after he kidnaps a citizen and gets her legs frozen when Frost sneezes, defeating him and also freezing Principal Waller's helicopter. She then appears saving Firefly and the hostage from falling and then defrosts them with her starbolts.

In Hero of the Month: Beast Boy, she appears in Beast Boy's Hero of the Month VT commenting that while he may seem "cute and cuddly", he can be "the ferociousest of beasts".

Season three[]

In Surprise!, Starfire makes a cameo appearance talking to Miss Martian beside the Lady Justice statue in front of the school. In Seeing Red, she pursues a red Kryptomite as it sows discord around the school with its anger-inducing powers, immune to it due to her Tamaranean DNA. As the Kryptomite manipulates Ivy to subdue her with vines, Starfire breaks free and manipulates her to use the anti-Kryptomite chemical on the Kryptomite, defeating it and restoring the school to normal. Having been splashed by the smelly chemical, she flies into the washroom for a shower.

In Wild Side Part 1, she has a picnic in the park with Beast Boy and Batgirl which is interrupted by a stampede of escaped zoo animals. She and her friends help rescue the citizens before encountering Lion-Mane, who is controlling the animals with mind control to take over Metropolis. As he tries to use his mind control powers on Beast Boy, Starfire and Batgirl defeat and subdue him, but the zoo animals escape. In Wild Side Part 2, they try to bring back the zoo animals and are assisted by Mari McCabe, a zoo volunteer. After bringing all the animals back, they thank Mari.

In Day of Fun-Ship, she goes on a "Day of Fun-Ship" with Blackfire as part of winning their bet for Super Hero High winning the Intergalactic Games, enthusiastically engaging in human activities despite her sister's reluctance and irritation. At the zoo, they encounter a rampaging King Shark who threatens to eat Blackfire. They win the ensuing battle by tying him up with a garland while singing a Tamaranean nursery rhyme. Before Blackfire returns to Korugar through the Boom Tubes, she admits to having fun and they hug. In Body Electric, she makes a cameo appearance attending Thunder and Lightning's medal ceremony for restoring power to Metropolis during a blackout.

In Fresh Ares Part 1, she listens to Ares' story with Frost at Capes & Cowls Café when Catwoman uses a pollen grenade to steal his Amulet of Harmonia, causing him to go on a rampage. As he grows in size to begin his rampage, she runs out of the building with Frost Steve Trevor run out of the building. In Fresh Ares Part 2, she and the other flying students accompany Wonder Woman to engage Ares, and she and Bumblebee manage to stun him by attacking a radio tower he holds as a lightning rod. After he is subdued, she appears with the other students in front of him as they celebrate. In Fresh Ares Part 3, Ares breaks free and resumes his rampage as Starfire watches with the other students. After the Amulet is returned to him and his rampage ends, she flies in to join the other students as they observe him.

In It's a Superful Life, she participates in a holiday toy drive with other students before they get the idea to do more for the holidays by sharing themselves. She goes to a senior's home with Beast Boy where she offers cookies to the residents. Later, she attends the holiday tree ceremony in the school foyer and helps decorate the tree.

Season four[]

In Ring Me Maybe Part 1, Starfire attends Hal Jordan's going-away party at Capes & Cowls and helps defeat Grundy when he crashes the party to seek revenge on Hal. In Ring Me Maybe Part 2, she gets captured by Sinestro and imprisoned in his ship along with the Flash and Wonder Woman when he invades Earth to kidnap Super Hero High students in retaliation for Korugar losing the Intergalactic Games. In Ring Me Maybe Part 4, she and the other students are rescued by Batgirl when she infiltrates his ship, while Jessica Cruz becomes the new Green Lantern of Earth and defeats him.

In Gone to the Dogs Part 2, she makes a cameo appearance flying in front of the school with her pet Silkie on her head after Principal Waller ends Super Hero High School' longstanding no pets rule. In Ha-Ha Horticulture, Starfire makes a cameo appearance flying over the school and then appears sleeping in the school courtyard along with other students as a result of the explosion caused by Ivy's sleeping poppy experiment. Later, Harley and Ivy distribute pollen around the school to counteract the effects of the poppy.

In Truth of the Lasso Part 1, she makes a cameo appearance participating in target practice on a field outside the school with other students.

In Nevermore Part 3, she makes a cameo appearance pouring water out of a water tower to put out fires created by Trigon as he attacks Super Hero High.

In Tamaranean Dance Club Part 1, after accompanying her friends as they capture the Double Dare Twins at Lena Luthor's old warehouse, Starfire expresses to them her longing of the "Great Dance of Tamaran" before flying back to the school alone. Her friends decide to organize a surprise dance for her with Korugar students and making her a dress for it. At the dance in the SHHS foyer, Blackfire attacks her. In Tamaranean Dance Club Part 2, she counterattacks, and reveals to her friends that "dance" is Tamaranean for "domination battle", which the dance evolves into. The Super Hero High students ultimately win with Starfire defeating Blackfire while Wonder Woman dictates dance moves from a microphone. Later, she and her friends eat dinner at Capes & Cowls.

In By the Yearbook, she makes a cameo appearance looking at a completed Super Hero High yearbook with Beast Boy, Frost and Ivy and comments that it "contains much greatness".

Season five[]

She wears a different outfit in the fifth season.

In Target Practice, Starfire gets introduced to the human game of frisbee by Wonder Woman and Supergirl while flying over the city. When she throws one, it lands it Lena Luthor's old warehouse and creates a Kryptomite out of spilled chemicals. Supergirl and Starfire later go to the park to practice throwing the discs, with Starfire's overly aggressive throws inadvertently creating more Kryptomites by splashing water. When the Kryptomites disable Supergirl and carry her away, Starfire throws more disks at them, rescuing Supergirl and allowing them to be captured by Wonder Woman's lasso. As they continue to play at the park with Starfire having visibly improved her throwing, Supergirl asks her if she has ever played yo-yo upon seeing Beast Boy play with one. The episode is framed by Starfire's narration in the form of a letter to Blackfire on human activities.

In Missing Martian, she makes cameo appearances standing in the school cafeteria and attending Miss Martian's surprise birthday later that evening. In the first part of Fortress of Solidarity, she appears attending the Super Hero High winter holiday tree ceremony with Blackfire.

In the first part of My So-Called Anti-Life, she attends Dr. Seid's math club and does a multiple choice test. She witnesses him transforms into Darkseid after using Harley's answers to solve the Anti-Life equation. In the second part, she and her schoolmates battle him, but are defeated and he escapes outside to use the equation to corrupt the school amethyst and transform Earth in his own image. After doing the same to Wonder Woman, Darkseid uses the equation to transform Starfire and Supergirl into clones of himself before doing the same to more students and staff. In the third part, after the remaining students undo the effects of the equation by restoring the individuality of the students, she and the other students approach Darkseid, all having been returned to normal, as he is defeated and retreats.
