Believe in my super-self!

Bumblebee

Super Hero High is a TV special that premiered March 19th, 2016, on Boomerang.

Synopsis

School is in session for DC Super Hero Girls! This is where students master their super powers, brain power, and will power to become the superheroes of tomorrow. When Supergirl crash lands into the cafeteria, it's evident that though she has incredible power, she has a long way to go before she becomes a superhero. As Supergirl learn to harness her powers, the Junior Detective Club investigates a mysterious rash of security breaches. Could it all be because of reformed super villains and Super Hero High vice principal Gorilla Grodd - or something far worse?

Trivia

  • Amanda Waller uses the code "1938" to deactivate an alarm; this is a reference to when the first issue of Action Comics was published and the first appearance of Superman and many of his associated characters.
  • Batgirl speaks in a gruff voice when she first gets into costume, referencing Batman's manner of speaking to disguise his voice.
    • A transition similar to those in the 1960's Batman TV series appears afterwards.
