Kara Danvers (also known as the superheroine Supergirl and by original Kryptonian name Kara Zor-El) is one of the main characters in the second generation of the DC Super Hero Girls franchise.
She was born in Krypton, a planet that exploded. She attends is a member of the Super Hero Girls and a student at Metropolis High School. She is Superman's cousin, and also has an adoptive mother and an adoptive father.

Superpowers
- Kryptonian Physiology: A native of the planet Krypton, Supergirl posses all the abilities of the average Kryptonian:
- Super Strength: Supergirl is without a doubt the strongest member of the Super Hero Girls, serving as their muscle. She can lift heavy objects with little effort, and add her strength to her physical attacks.
- Super Speed: Supergirl is incredibly fast, capable of moving at supersonic speeds.
- Super Breath: Supergirl can create gale forces by exhaling air from her lung. She can also use this freeze her foes in place.
- Super Hearing: Supergirl's hear any sound from almost any distance.
- Flight: Supergirl can fly through the air.
- Heat Vision: One of Supergirl's famous abilities. She can fire beams of heat from her eyes at varying intensities.
- Super Flare: Arguably Supergirl's most powerful ability, the strongest variation of her heat vision. She concentrates all of the solar energy in her body and unleashes in one powerful blast. However, the use of it is costly as it leave her drained with her powers for a certain amount of time.
- X-ray Vision: Supergirl can see through solid object to see what is inside. However, her x-ray vision cannot see through lead.
- Invulnerability: Supergirl is nearly invulnerable to any of earth's weapons, making her bulletproof.
Weakness
- Kryptonite: Radioactive chunks of the destroyed planet Krypton that come in multiple colors with multiple effects.
- Green Kryptonite: Weakens a Kryptonian and nullifies their powers making them feel pain.
- Red Kryptonite: Has unpredictable effects on Kryptonians that vary from: excessive hair growth, moodiness, transformation into ant-headed humanoids, susceptibility to mind control, mild acne, and other effects.

Personality
Supergirl is known to be the muscle of the group. She is also a rebel and is known as the "cool kid" in school. She's tomboyish, macho, and very hot-headed. She may be tough, but she can easily express her emotions. She can be a outgoing friend and a helpful one, but she can also be jealous sometimes and she dislikes her cousin's win. She can be a bit mischievous such as in "Soul Sisters," where she drew on Catwoman's face and messed up Star Sapphire's hair.
Designs

Kara Danvers is a curvaceous and muscular teenage girl. She has short blonde hair in a choppy bob, blue eyes and pale white skin. She wears a blue leather jacket, a light blue shirt, a golden belt with the outline of the House of El symbol as the buckle, light red ripped pants and reddish brown boots.
As Supergirl, she wears a dark color themed version of her cousin's Superman suit, consisting of a blue shirt with the House of El symbol on the chest area, a red cape, a golden belt and red and white boots, with the only difference being that she spots a red skirt.
